kids, you have NO idea how much i've wanted a new bathroom.
ITS INSANE
finally i can say "GET THE HELL OUT" to the white and yellow 80's tile on the walls (yes, the WALLS) that the previous owners so greatly installed.
i can also replace the gruesome tub that only holds, oh i don't know, about
1 inch of water
not to mention new shower.
we're talkin' full demolition.

and it wouldn't bother me to take a sledgehammer to the baseboards myself if i have to.

this girl in my lit. class is hosting a guy for foreign exchange
17...italian...beautiful accent...my current obsession.
we put ourselves into smaller groups and i put myself in his group (...by chance?...) and he read a section of romeo and juliet...

lexi's visit to chi town was quite excellent!

saturday, we went to wicker park, which was amazing.

and i got:

-black chanel bag from the 80s at this awesome little vintage store

(although it may be a fake, but thats quite alright)

-sea foam green nail polish :]

-american apparel black u-neck dress

-THERMOCHROMATIC american apparel tshirt

-grey american apparel jacket

LEXI GOT GOOD STUFF TOO.

then sunday we went to the beach (FREEZING) and took some beach pics, then went to the movies

then monday ran around highland park and put lexi on an airplane

and well most likely be posting pics of our adventures and purchases later on, as my computor is the lamest thing ever right now.

so today i was so tired, as usual.

and i got home and watched youtube videos on my ipod for pretty much 2 hours straight

consisting of bob dylan interviews, the alexander wang fall 09 runway show, erin wasson x RVCA, and old jimi hendrix interview, and lexi and rachels video dedication to me for the tenth time. :]

i cant wait to get my own apartment

and decorate it

with fur rugs and blankets and pillows and silver trays all around and feather chandeliers!

practicing random acts of chaos

so picture this:

i'm sitting on my bathroom floor looking in my cabinet for something to heal my insanely dry hands.

can't find anything

but i do come across of can of totally unused shaving cream.

and then my mind flashes back to pre-K, when we used

to spread that 10 cent shaving cream all over the tables

and draw in it.

what would you do?

needless to say, i've relived the memory.and i have pictures to document:

long story short, i had way too much fun, and it's kind of reassuring to know that all i need to keep myself entertained is a can of shaving cream.
